PLUS this year we introduce Community Categories – anyone can host a film category, all you need is a category title and a prize to offer. Categories hosted so far include:
- The Reece Newling award for bloodiest, gutsiest Horror film
- The Stewart Carter award for Best Use of Oxygen
- The Angus Read-Hill award for Best Sci-Fi
- The Big Jim award for Best Film Featuring Food
- The Isaebella Doherty Arty-Arty-Arthouse-Artness award
- The Rosie Annear Liver Society award for Best Film Involving Alcohol
- The Claire Peters award for Best Film Featuring an Animal
- The Giles Dodsworth ‘Best Use of Music in a Film’ award
- The Ambah Face and Body Art award for Best use of Special fx / Makeup
- The Andersen for greenest Green in a Green film

Get tips on taking photos or videos of the people and scenes around you, for the ABC Open website http://abc.net.au/open and for display during the Fringe Festival.
· BYO digital camera or camera phone, camera-computer cord & a USB stick..
· All welcome. Kids under 13 please bring a parent.
