Thank you Everyone who contributed to this year’s
fantastically successful Castlemaine fringe festival. We hope
everyone had successful events, events even though there was soo
much on during the festival period. we (the festival
committee) also hope that you wish you a good year or a
good few year’s. We have enjoyed being involved in this year’
Please do come to our celebration evening on Sunday the 7th of April 2pm @ CASPA where
light music, refreshments BBQ and thank- you’s may be
made… as well as many stories may be shared horah!
There will also be opportunities for feedback and criticism at a
later stage to help us continually improve the performance
and facilitation of the Castlemaine fringe festival in the
What an amazing event our art auction was. It was such a success.
Thanks to our exceedingly kind and generous community we were able to make $3,500 which is exactly what we needed to make our funding targets.
Thank you very much to everyone who was involved. To those who donated works and services and to those who spent their money there. I am very confident that many people went home with a treasured bargain.
Next up on the fringe fundraising calender are a bunch of wonderful music nights at caspa and keep a look out for our spunky full program soon to be printed and launched to invite the world into our own artistic and creative community.

Our art and services auction will now be on Sunday 10th of February at 2pm, still at the Bridge Hotel, that means you have more time to GET YOUR ART AND SERVICES DONATION IN!!!.
Traditionally the Fringe Art Auction is the main form of fundraising for the Fringe festival and is a well known and loved event with much art donated and taken home.
So Come! and get your hands on an amazing piece of local art OR bid on a unique and valuable services donated by our supportive and keen community.
So far our auction includes services such as garden work, painting and musical tuition… what can you offer???

The first fringe fundraiser
The theme launch on Saturday
With the kind cooperation of The Bridge Hotel, Castlemanians gathered last Friday night (7th December) to hear five local bands play, donating the door to the Fringe’s coffers.
The bands were (in order of appearance) Scott Sanders on solo guitar and voice, Tourettes – the trio – newcomers High Horse (NOT High Hoarse, as spelt in some quarters), Exit Crowd, and Kestrel. By the end of the night, everyone seemed to feel they’d had their $10-worth and – to top it off – most of us had signed up as potential Fringe volunteers.
