Yodhi Bergman is a Castlemaine based painter who has exhibited both here in Australia and overseas. Her work is a reflection of her own imagined folklore focusing on flora and fauna primarily from her native home in rural New England in the United States. Yodhi’s paintings are totemic images where there is a recurring affinity with stregnth and fragilty. A raw yet playful depiction of how the natural world provides sustenance for the human psyche.
Yodhi’s work is showing at Lot 19, open Sat 14th-Mon16th, Wed18th, Fri 20th 11-5pm.
