Andy Pye & Leiana Keogh

Works in progress & selected works

Exhibition dates: 3-26 May
opening Friday 3 May 6-8 pm

Andy Pye has been painting for 20 years. He is concerned with the Australian Bush, with works in private and corporate collections across Australia. These works on paper show a process of progression. They are completely linear, but aim to convey the non linear way in which final works on canvas are produced. This is the first time Andy has presented his thought process to the public.

Leiana Keogh is a graduate painter from RMIT Melbourne, who is beginning her first year as a working artist. Her works are tenderly applied and thoughtful. Within these paintings Keogh is observing the landscape of the Alpine region of Victoria and the detrimental affect live stock grazing and in turn colonisation has had on the landscape
