To create our(soul)ve's As Kreecha beings... Set amidst the tale of the past and the now- The foundations for the future-' Emmily Caspi’s background in performance, installation and decor allow for a freedom of expression and storytelling with a focus on truly enveloping the spectator. Dotahn Caspi: *Physio-Binary Unit Confirmation |
| A sentience confined or devolved into parts which are containable. A familiar human feeling recreated by and placed into a machine.
Manageable and melancholic, the Physio-Binary Unit still needs recognition and maintenance. One half of renowned Melbourne VJ group Devoloid Media, Dotahn Caspi is now focusing on video art and installation work. Using the rhythmic quality of stop-frame animation with a textural approach to the screen, Dotahn's video work is immersive and unique. His work has been seen in a diverse range of contexts, from theatre work, fashion shows, video clips and numerous large-scale festivals and club appearances. Dotahn’s new body of work surrounding new techniques in theatre, short film and animation breaks new bounds within the use of screen-based art. |

Niccolo Palandri |
| Niccolo Palandri is a writer, musician and visual artist. He has lived in Australia since 2006, and has just graduated in professional writing and editing at RMIT, Melbourne. A collection of his poems, short stories and self-portraits produced in the last few months will be published before the end of the year (Hands on writing publisher). I have been working for a few months on a series of self portraits which combine photographic portraiture and digital manipulation of images, but also includes writing, concrete poetry and drawing. My visual art is very much a continuation of my writing, in that it follows the same thread of thought, irony, beauty and fear. I explore the realm of the self where everything is filtered and thus becomes us. My increasing concern with the state of the environment is pushing concepts of involvement, responsibility and doom into my art. This is the aspect of the theme 'future' which I would like to explore for the exhibition. |

Nick Nicholl |
| The Art. What makes this world? What will destroy this world? What will allow this world too be born again? Illustrations from The Last Dragahn Nick was born in 79 and raised in environments of giving selflessly, magic and self-discovery. At an early age he developed a deep fascination for unraveling the mysteries of the human psyche and the events that as a collective, we call life. When he turned 21 he received the totem of a wolf. Since then Nick has spent much of his time searching for answers and knowledge that are considered to be taboo or secret. 'There are layers to this world that we can either choose to ignore or accept. From as young as I can remember, I have always wanted to know. The what's, why's how's and how comes. My life has led me down an extraordinary path. This is what I know so far... I am not here to guide you, nor show you the way. I simply wish to tell a story, it's your choice to listen' |

DANARCHY GRIMES: Futuristic Faeryland |
| Danarchy Grimes is an artist who also studies magical and 'supposedly mythical' creatures such as faeries, mermaids and pixies. His research and findings reveal that these creatures have undergone bizarre, amazing and sometimes high tech transformations. Danarchy will be exhibiting a few portraits of these 'mythical' beings he has come across on his travels- acrylic paint on canvas. Due to the often dangerous situations that Danarchy's work and research creates, (such as various international government agencies trying to obtain his research for military application), he will be staying in a safe house in Castlemaine for the duration of the Fringe. |

Reece Newling aka Pen Work |
| NAME: too many aliases to answer AGE: not important. random LIVES: on a grassy knoll in Chewton LIKES: playing CDs on DISLIKES: drummers ASPERSIONS: to continue making art…. I’m a young eco-friendly civilian, who lives in the tranquil town of Chewton, some where I still feel totally comfortable head banging, punching and kicking the air and bashing my face against rocks. To just let loose and go with 'the flow' is an attitude I have adopted though my observations and interactions. Finding people with the same interests are few and far between but totally worthy (I know you're out there, please find me!) My clouded artist universe consists of many influences, like the 'honesty' that exists in the mundane, to the straight up de-sensitised weirdness of the internet. Much of my time on this earth has been spent being nurtured by the warming glow of television and being addicted to the sugary rainbow. These influences can definitely be seen in my drawing of profanities, however mean comparatively little when up against the pure awesomeness of Music! It has to be the biggest inspiration in life EVER !!! |

Alana Degen: Death of the newborn stars |
| Alana Degen has spent much of her 1/4C existence in the artist's hub of
C' Rock. Abandoning the rigidity of a career in the classical music scene, she found peace in Castlemaine as an artist, branching out to express herself through the process of study and creation. Alana is a Trash Faerie. She draws inspiration and materials from hunting treasure and collecting and rearranging random 'junk' she attracts from the gutters and creatures in her path. Her Work deals with themes of Death and Transformation and therefore human's supernatural ability to affect change in an environment. Decaying and archaic objects are of most value to her because they carry with them information and character of worlds that no longer exist. Much of Alana's Work has practical merit. Costume pieces or self-extensions create an opportunity for the wearer to be able to fully intereact and transform with the art. |
