Lilting four-part harmonies, dueling stringed things and general pandemonium define The Heel-Toe Express, a troupe of beings who somehow found each other through a healthy obsession with the blues, bluegrass, old-timey country and a sprinkling of traditional folk. The Heel-Toe Express bring to the stage a swag of original material along with a new take on some timeless tunes. |

S.E.G.U.E. [seh gway] is an assemblage of musicians with diverse
backgrounds and musical tastes, drawn together by an inexplicable desire
to vent their musical feelings on the humble ukulele. United in their
belief that any more than four strings are superfluous, this group have
coalesced into a truly eclectic ensemble, playing a vast range of
musical styles on an interesting array of ukuleles. Occasional
appearances of Musical Saw, Kazoo or "Whistling Jim" add colour to their
performance. A S.E.G.U.E. performance can include anything from six to a dozen performers incorporating solos, trios and full ensemble arrangements of anything from Monty Python through vintage Hawaiian Hulas to Dolly Parton and the Kinks, with Material drawn from Hawaiian; Blues; Reggae; Country; Nostalgia; Rock; Swing; Risque; Pop; Comedy; Jazz; etc, etc. Click here to go to their myspace |
