A play by Australian author, Catherine McKinnon. It is a challenging and fast paced work that presents topical issues in a social and political context. Far from being dry, it is full of passion and strong imagery. Blue House explores the expressive potential of movement based theatre, and ideas of bringing dreams and nightmares into the waking world. A collaborative process between members of the company and the artistic director, Kelly Effenberg. Atypical Troupe and Odd Sock Theatre Company appeared as a double bill in the 2008 Bendigo Fringe. Now members have collaborated on new short works. Raw and new, this is a work in progress. Directed by Sky Lilly Simpson. CreateAbility Events Network was established in 2002 with the aim of providing opportunities through the arts for people of all abilities to express themselves and connect with others. The second biennial film festival for the Castlemaine Fringe has gone Underground. The Theatre Royal Digital Underground Film Festival promises to bring an even more diverse selection of movies from around our community and around the globe. The Theme for this year’s festival is "Underground". In true fringe spirit we seek the quirky, the zany, the strange and the newest films. We will feature a 45-minute program at dusk each night between March 27 and April 4. CURVES 'DECORATE A BRA' EXHIBITION
Come and behold some of the most memorable bras every to exist in this amazing exhibition. The display is some of the best of 628 bras that were submitted in an outstanding effort to raise money for Cancer.
back to programmeFound is an exhibition that invites its audience to imagine the stories that lie behind the images of unknown families and obscure events, Australia in the 1950s, private school regattas, sunny days in unknown places, a horse that won a few races, and discarded press releases found at op shops, garage sales, roadsides, rubbish bins and hidden in second hand books. The new owners of these photographs often know little to nothing about them but what they are able to glean from details, or wildly imagine. This exhibition also acts as a lost property area, in that viewers may bring their own knowledge to identify people, events, or places in these found photos. More info: 0437 074 326

FUTURE SAILORS EMERGING ARTISTS EXHIBITION
Highlighting a unique first time partnership between the Castlemaine State Festival and the Castlemaine Fringe Festival, Future Sailors explores emerging artists visions for our future.
