Castlemaine Fringe festival

The Castlemaine Fringe festival was the original purpose of The Fringe Thing Inc.  Founding in 1991 as a platform of specifically local artists from the Castlemaine and Mount Alexander region, the biennial Fringe festival has showcased an incredibly vast cross-section of professional, amateur and hobby artists and performers.

From 2016 there will be Fringe festival events annually around March or April.
