The Castlemaine Fringe Open Access program of events is open to anyone wanting to put on an event or show and be included in our printed and online program.
We have 7 event categories: Music, Theatre & Fabulous Theatrics, Comedy, Social Impact, Workshops, Film & Literature and Exhibitions & Open Studios.

$95 for ticketed events, exhibitions, open studios and
$30 for free events.

Fringe Presents Events
If you are a musician/ performer and would like to apply to perform at our Opening Night Street Party, Monster Mash Family Day Picnic or in the Fringe Hub, we want to hear from you!

These acts are commissioned by Castlemaine Fringe but spaces are very limited.

art auction artist callout
The Art Auction is Fringe’s major fundraiser. 50% of proceeds from the sale of artwork is paid direct to the artist with the other 50% going towards the 2025 Fringe Festival.
All mediums and sizes accepted along with items for our silent auction.
