An exhibition in conversation with the life and art of Frida Kahlo. A luminous exhibition from artists near and far!

Departure Point is a live, visual conversation across mediums between established artists Melinda Harper, Zoe Amor, Michael Wolfe and Dale Cox with raconteur Suzanne Donisthorpe delving into the finer points of their Art life and work at the lot19 Gallery on Jaara Country.

This exhibition is an experiment in process and possibility. Combining video and theatre, Pryor and O’Rourke play with Proto-Renaissance artworks of women at sea to understand how inherited cultural motifs and patterns of movement persist to shape personal and political realities.

This is Inkwareny Artists from Yuelamu, Northern Territory. We are a new Anmatyerr Art Centre. 'Inkwareny' means honey ant in Anmatyerr - we are from Inkwareny country. We bring to you our art from our country about our Anangkerr (dreaming).

From the precious to the quotidian, materials are used in traditional and in surprising ways.
